LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT SYSTEMS

Looking ahead to construction of the Valley’s new light rail system in late 2003, CSCI has assembled a specialized team of seasoned personnel to lead this expansion, which will include overhead utilities, underground utility duct bank, signage relocation, temporary signals, signal and lighting relocation and new construction as well as the train signals, communications systems, signage, and station lighting. We look forward to being an integral part of the growth on our community’s horizon.

Milestone: CS Construction, Inc. completes final Light Show Testing of the Light Rail Bridge over Tempe Town Lake. This is a fully programable dynamic LED light show with over 200 Show programs. The City of Tempe will use these show programs for Holiday's, Concerts, and other Special Events held at the Town Lake.

Our Crews

Our crews work throughout the West. All our foremen have more than 10 years of experience, and all are certified in Confined Space Entry and as a Competent Trained Person. All employees are trained in trench and excavation safety. Crews are given the resources to work on a client's project on the client's timetable.

We Warranty ALL Our Work

We provide a full, 3-year warranty of ALL of our fiber optic fusion splicing to assure our customers that they receive the best service available. We will obtain licensing in any state as needed or required by a client's job.

Corning Cable Systems' network of nationwide Extended Warranty(sm) Program (EWP) installers are carefully selected. Each member-company meets our stringent requirements for technical experience, financial strength, and proven dedication to quality. EWP installers must demonstrate ongoing commitment to extensive factory training and are required to update training at least once every two years.

We Use No Sub-contractors

We use no subcontractors to perform any splicing services. We only utilize our own company employees.

CS Technologies splicing crews utilize 2 x 4 & 4 x 4 trucks equipped with winches and splicing labs mounted on the back. Each two-man crew operates with a 1000 watt and a 5000 watt Honda generator. All crews are fully equipped with visible light sources, power meters, tents, and complete manhole packages. The crews have additional tools and equipment on hand which different environments or job situations may require.
